Special offer creation

Special offers differs from sales as they last only a certain period of time after which they are deactivated automatically. In addition special offers can be connected to all rates at once and adjusted by the room type. For example, you can create a discount for deluxe rooms only and make sure that guests can see this offer only for a limited amount of time, for example a month before some holiday or event. Moreover, you can limit the number of possible sales.

To create a special offer, go to Prices and Offers / Special offers. At the bottom of the screen, click + Add.

In the editing window you need to fill 5 information blocks: Main Info, Dates, Discount, Conditions and Settings. Remember that the fields marked with * are required to fill in.

Main information

Name - the name of the special offer.

Short title - specify the name of the promotion that will be used within the MaxiBooking program.

Description - a description of the offer that will be visible to customers and employees.

Dates

In this field specify the starting date and the ending date for the special offers.

Discount

Discount - specify the discount

Percentage - be sure to set this switch to the required position if you want the discount above to be percentage or a sum. The percentage will be calculated from the cost of the room.

Conditions

Show since and Show until - the date of the beginning and the end of the sale's display in users' search queries.

Rates - indicate the rates to which the special offer will apply.

Room types - if you want the special offer be applied only to certain types of the rooms, specify which ones.

Limit - indicate the number of rooms that can be sold using this special offer. After the needed amount of rooms is sold, the special offer will automatically end.

Settings

With the help of the switch turn the special offer on or off.

Important! After filling out all the information, do not forget to save the changes.

To apply a special offer, make sure to choose it when you create a reservation. Special offers will be automatically available for booking if you set appropriate dates and your inquiry complies with restrictions and conditions.
