Discounts

We mentioned the sales earlier, when we talked about rate setting. A discount can be connected to the rate and will remain in effect until you turn it off. Or you can set it up in such a way so that the sale could be activated during the booking. A sale is always a discount, but with customizable conditions. If you specify certain conditions for the sale, it will be available only if you set certain search parameters.

Sale creation

To create a sale, go to Prices and offers / Promotions and discounts. After that click +Add button in the bottom of the screen.

In the opened window fill in two information blocks. Remember, fields marked with * are mandatory.

Main information

Name - name of the sale.

Short name - specify the name of the promotion that will be used within the MaxiBooking program.

Individual - determine whether the sale will be applied to each individual guest, or to the whole number.

Discount - specify the discount

Percentage - be sure to set this switch to an needed position if you want the discount above to be percentage or a sum. The percentage will be calculated from the cost of the room.

Comment - indicate all necessary information for your employees and customers here.

Number of adults free of charge - if some of the adults can be accommodated free of charge, write here how many.

Number of children free of charge - if some of the children can be accommodated free of charge, write here how many. Within one booking.

Children discount - if you want to set different prices for children, use this field in %.

Note: In the instruction for rooms and prices you set the age of the child and the infant. Infant - is always considered free.

Terms and Conditions

You can also add conditions under which this sale will be available.

Condition - select a condition from the drop-down list. For example, you can set the minimum number of stay days.

Quantity - indicate the quantity for the condition you chose.

Additional condition - add an additional condition, if necessary.

Quantity - indicate the quantity for the additional condition you chose.

Important! After filling out all the information, do not forget to save the changes.
