After you have created the necessary service categories, you can start directly creating the services themselves. Please note that you already have certain list of services pre-installed in the program. They can not be deleted, but you can edit them.
To do this, go to the Rooms and Rates/Services, select the desired category, and then click + Add a service.
In the newly opened window you need to fill in two blocks: General information and Settings. Remember that the fields marked with * are required.
Title - the name of your service.
Internal title - this name will be visible to the hotel staff only.
Description - description of the service.
Payment type - in this field, select from the drop-down list how the cost of the service will be calculated.
Price - service cost.
Date? - Indicate whether to use the date when the service is added to the reservation. This is useful for one-time services, for example massage. If the service is repeated every day (for example, breakfast), then this function can be omitted.
Time? - Indicate whether to use the time field when the service is added to the reservation. Also switch this option on for services which the lead time is important for (for example early check-in).
Web form? - Set the switch into a desired position to determine if the service will be available online.
On? - Use the switch to indicate whether the service is available for sale.
Important! After filling in all the fields, do not forget to save the changes.
Service editing / deletion
To edit the service, you must click on the green edit button next to the service name. You can also click on the name of the service itself.
As mentioned before, you can only delete the service you created yourself. To do this, click the delete button next to the service name.
