Rate is the basis to which prices and rooms for sale will then be attached. In the rate you specify the basic conditions that will subsequently form the final price and room availability for guests. Please pay particular attention to the creation of the rate, as it will determine all your future sales.
To create a rate, you need to enter the Prices and Offers / Booking Rates section in the main menu on the left. Initially, you only have a Basic Rate without any settings. You can edit it to your needs or create your own rate. This can be done by clicking on the + Add button in the bottom of the screen.
In order to create a tariff, you need to fill in information in 3 blocks on the opened window. We kindly remind you that the fields marked with * are required.
General Info
Name - set the name of your rate (for example, Main, Summer, etc.)
Short name - this name will be visible to the hotel staff only.
Description - a description of your tariff, available for viewing by users.
Terms and conditions
Terms and conditions have a purpose to avoid unwanted booking. If, for example, you have a busy time in a certain period of time (in summer or during holidays), then it may not be profitable for you to allow 2-3 day bookings or booking for one person. By setting conditions and restrictions, you can limit the booking in certain cases.
Starting date - from what day the rate will be active.
End date - up to what date the rate will apply.
Condition - select the desired condition from the drop-down list and in the Quantity field specify a variable.
Additional condition - select the desired additional condition from the drop-down list and in the Quantity field specify a variable.
Minimum payment - prepayment, which the client must make to book a room in percents.

Settings
Default? - indicate whether this tariff will be used online on your website or not.
Available online - if this rate will be available in the online form on your website.
Child age limit - specify till what age the guest will be considered a child.
Infant age limit - specify till what age the guest will be considered an infant.
Connected rate? - indicate whether the rate will be used in transition periods between rate changes.
Position - where your tariff will be displayed in the list in the menu and in the form. The higher the figure, the higher the tariff will be on the list.
Active? - specify whether the tariff is available for booking or not.
Important! After filling in all the fields, do not forget to save the changes.
After you save the information, two more tabs will become available to you in the top of the screen: Sales and Services.
Promotions and discounts
Specify whether any sales will be applied to this rate. More details about the sales you can be found here.
In the Available Options field you can add several sales. These sales can be used when booking.
Note: Sales used in this field will not be applied until you specify them when booking.
In a Promotions and discounts included in the rate field you can put only one sale. This sale will be used by default, for all the bookings in this tariff plan.
Important! After filling in all the fields, do not forget to save the changes.
Services
In this tab you can specify which services will be available for this rate. You can read more about the services here.
In order to include the services during the booking, you need to add them to your tariff plan. To do this, fill in one of the fields:
In Available options field add services that need to be included in the rate. When booking a room with this rate, you will be offered a choice of those services that you added in this field.
In the Services included in the rate field you add services which will be included in the rate automatically. Add them one at a time. If services are paid, the cost of accommodation will be increased by the cost of the service.
Important! After filling in all the fields, do not forget to save the changes.
