Ingredients

General Information

The restaurant module in the MaxiBooking program allows you to set up a restaurant in your hotel and manage the table booking and guest orders.

To start working with the restaurant module, you must first configure it. The restaurant settings are in the Settings / Restaurant section of the main menu. First of all you should create ingredients. Go to the Settings / Restaurant section and select the Ingredients menu item.

Adding ingredients

Since you don't have the categories of ingredients yet and the ingredients themselves, the program will immediately suggest you to create ingredients groups. To do this click on + Create a new category button.

In the ingredient creation window enter the name of a category, internal name, if necessary, and then save changes.

Once you create a category, the program will warn you that it has no ingredients. You can add a product by clicking on the + Add ingredient button or by using the link from the warning (points 1 and 2). In the same menu you can also edit a category (3) or remove it (4). Remember that you can not delete a category while it has ingredients in it.

After clicking on the + Add ingredient button, the window for adding the ingredient will open. Remember that the fields marked with * are required. Here you must specify the following data:

Title - enter the name of the product.

Internal title - name for internal usage in MaxiBooking.

Show - use the switch to enable or disable the ingredient in the table.

Price - the price of the ingredient per unit.

Measure unit - choose a measurement unit from the list.

Percentage of output - the percentage of the product which is going to be available after processing. The rest is thrown into garbage.

Important! Do not forget to save the changes after filling in the necessary information.

Working with table

When all the necessary ingredients have been added to the table, you have several options in the table to use. Lets look at them:

Using the arrows next to the name of the columns, you can sort the results in the table from larger to smaller and vice versa.

By clicking on the edit button, you can change the ingredient. You can also edit the ingredient by clicking on the product name.

By clicking on the delete button, you can remove an ingredient.

Using the export buttons, you can export the table in Excel or PDF formats.

In the table itself you can change the price, without going into the editing window, as well as

enable or disable the product.

After making changes to the table, you need to save them.
